Hello!

I’m Daycie De Luz, a Korean/Filipino American motion designer based in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised on the Big Island, Hawai’i, I moved to sunny California to attend Otis College of Art & Design back in 2019.

I’m a 3D/2D motion designer and illustrator with a passion for experimenting, no matter the medium or method. I have a soft spot for cute characters and colorful designs. When it comes to my craft, what I love most is learning from my talented peers and challenging myself to try something new. Every project I embark on is a chance to strive for new heights and collaborate with others.

When I’m not hunched over the computer like a shrimp, you can find me hunting for new boba and food spots to try, napping with my dog, or playing (and failing) at whatever sport hobby I’m interested in of the week — right now, it’s pickleball and badminton! Feel free to ask me about my most beloved boba spots and recommended drinks (;
